A calm record of your coffee
Bunchum is a calm, precise place to record your coffee and understand it better. It is for people who take coffee seriously: the home brewer dialing in a new bag, anyone who wants to know why one cup beat the last. No feed to scroll, no streak to keep alive, no ads.
The name comes from the physician al-Rāzī, who described coffee around 922 CE in the earliest known medical note on the bean. He worked the way Bunchum works: observe closely, write down what you find, and let the record teach you.
Your notes stay yours. Everything you log exports at any time, in a format you can keep, and you decide what happens to it. That is the whole promise: a calm, precise record of your coffee, owned by you.

Is it free?
Yes. During Solo mode Bunchum is free, with no account fee and no usage cap. Your data exports at any time.
Who is it for?
People already in specialty coffee: you own a grinder, you weigh your dose, and you want to see what changes cup to cup. If that is not you yet, the Guides are a place to start.
Do I need special gear?
A grinder, a scale and one brewer are enough. Bunchum works with the equipment you already own and speaks in your grinder's numbers, not a stranger's.
What about my data?
It stays yours. Bunchum does not sell it or show ads against it. You can export everything, or ask for deletion, whenever you want.
