Provenance
Our everyday Clever: all the water at once, a three-minute steep, then release.
Source
Rinse the filter
Put the paper filter in, rinse it with hot water and tip that water out. Keep the dripper on a flat surface so the valve stays shut, and add the coffee.
Add water250 g
Pour all 250 g over the grounds in one go, fast enough to wet the whole bed.
Stir
Give it one gentle stir to sink any floating grounds, then put the lid on.
Steep
Leave it on the surface and let it steep for 3:00, valve closed.
Release
Lift the dripper onto your cup or server. The valve opens and it drains in roughly a minute. Lift it off once it stops dripping.
